Heath’s father, Glen, qualified for the National Finals Rodeo in 1976, and his cousin, Royce, reached the Wrangler NFR from 2003-09 and again in 2011. Glen, works as a bus driver and Heath's mother, Jane, is a teacher and a rodeo secretary. He has two brothers, Jarrod (2005-06 Wrangler NFR qualifier as a bull rider) and Nic, a PRCA photographer … Graduated with 80 classmates from Platte Valley High School in Kersey, Colo., where he participated in football and wrestling … Spent part of 2008 coaching Platte Valley High wrestling team ... Serves as the PRCA event representative on the Contestant Executive Council ...
